Debi founded Gemba Security Solutions, LLC in 2012 with her husband Tom. Their vision was to create a company that would serve clients long term security solutions by creating a partnership to achieve both operational and budgetary success across every aspect of the client’s security and communication needs.

With her previous position as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in a number of publicly traded companies, as well as a private Regulatory Consulting Firm, she has experience in developing and executing strategies, policies, and programs to ensure that fiduciary and regulatory requirements are addressed. Debi leverages her knowledge of government and state agencies to proactively monitor relevant governmental bodies to identify changes in legislation and regulations.
Debi writes standard operating procedures and ensures compliance with the organization’s internal polices to ensure local, state and federal compliance.

Leveraging more than 25 years of technical and business leadership in the education market, Thomas (Tom) Parker has been instrumental in helping thousands of schools and facilities throughout the U.S. and Asia improve their life safety, security and communication infrastructures.

Prior to launching Gemba Security Solutions, Parker served as Manager of Business Development for ADT Security Services, Inc., leading a team with overall responsibility for 15,000 schools and 1,300 colleges and universities across the country. Then, as now, Parker’s teams would perform in-depth Risk Assessments, then work with clients to develop strategies to improve their operational performance, minimize risk and reduce their losses.
Along with a strong technical foundation, the security executive’s vast experience base lies in business management, leading teams and working with clients to achieve operational and budgetary success. To achieve success, he leverages his experience and training in the areas of: comprehensive business management and leadership, total budget management, operations management, continual process improvement (Six Sigma/ACE), contract administration, and business ethics.

Mr. Parker has participated, presented and spoken at hundreds of industry conferences and events. Conferences include: American Association of School Administrators, American School Business Officials, National School Board Association, Council of Education Facilities Planners International, and more.

Along with a strong technical foundation, management’s vast experience base lies in business management, team leadership and working with clients to achieve operational and budgetary success while improving their communication and security environments.
